Cindy is a creative soul who enjoys art & design, creating miniature themed gardens & helping others. Cindy’s love for art and design began at an early age and it didn’t take long for her to discover another love, teaching. As a Kindergarten teacher for many years, Cindy truly enjoyed inspiring and mentoring children. As she taught and raised her own family she helped many others as well, including teaching English to her students’ parents by co-developing a program called H.E.A.R.T. in her school district. Once leaving teaching, Cindy learned to wear many hats including several successful business ventures from Interior design to jewelry design. In 2010 Cindy finally decided to devote more time to her first love of making miniature gardens and now creates gardens of all shapes, sizes, and themes full time. She loves every aspect of the process from acquiring her garden pieces to designing and constructing the garden to gifting, sharing and selling her gardens on Etsy. She loves the freedom she gets from creating whatever design she wants, researching its needs and following through with the completion of each art garden. She has recently married her love of teaching with art and design and has begun teaching small classes on how to design, assemble and decorate their own miniature gardens. If you are a local to southern California look her up, you too can book a class for individuals or private groups.
She resides in Southern California with her husband Dennis and little white dog Barkley.
